Oral History Project

Speakers: Ros Clow, Liz Allen, Tom Allen, Jenni Collins.  

In 2024, inspired by a talk to the Family History Group about the Plenty Engineering Works, the Field Club set up an Oral History Project.

         Ros Clow willl introduce the project.

         Liz Evans will talk about her adventures with the Plenty Pensioners,

         Tom Allen will explain the technical backup we have set up,

         Jenni Collins will describe how to do long distance interviews and review specialist Oral History support groups.

About the speaker: Ros Clow

Ros Clow leads the History Group in the Friends of Newtown Road Cemetery who have researched the lives of hundreds of those interred in the cemetery. Inspired by the fruits of their research Ros has written, produced and directed several plays, performed by the Resurrection Players.
