Afternoon Venue


Venue:

Council Chamber, Newbury Town Hall

Use Mansion House Street entrance, follow signs to Council Chamber.


Access:

The Council Chamber is upstairs; ask at reception if you need to use the lift. The Town Hall is within the pedestrianised zone, it is not possible to park or drop off a passenger at the door.


Parking:

There is no specific parking, use any of the town centre car parks.

Evening Venue


Venue:

Parish Room, St John's Church

The Parish Room is a small hall attached to the northern side of the church, the entrance is at the Newtown Road end of the church (incorrectly shown as Bartholomew Street on some maps).

Access:

The Parish Room is on the ground floor, there are no stairs.


Parking:

Limited parking is available on the south side of the church, enter from St John's Road.




History Day


Venue:

St Nicolas' Church Hall

The Church Hall is to the south side of St Nicolas' Church, pedestrian access is possible from Bartholomew Street.

Access:

The room used in the Church Hall is on the ground floor, there are no stairs.


Parking:

There is limted parking available by pre-booking (contact the Secretary or Treasurer); priority is given to disabled.


There are many public car parks, mainly pay and display, some pay on exit or pay by phone - see Council website. In general, the further you are prepared to walk, the cheaper the parking!
